Dusting off the Blog
A long ways back I set up this WordPress blog, but after a few postings it sort of just languished. I had other, more pressing concerns like packing up my life and re-locating to California, and, well, I just sort of fell out of the habit.
It’s not that I don’t write – on the contrary I regularly craft lengthy emails that I fire off to the various lists I subscribe to. But twice this week, I reflected that I really should resurrect this blog if for no other reason than to have a platform to comment and/or respond to events that are part of my day/week/life.
And so once again I will attempt to blog my way through the year. I have no idea how active it will be this time, but, with my weekly mailing list that I send from work as a minimum of one post a week, hopefully it will attract a few readers. If not, who cares?

People born in the Year of the Pig are chivalrous and gallant. Whatever they do, they do with all their strength. For Boar Year people, there is no left or right and there is no retreat. They have tremendous fortitude and great honesty. They don't make many friends but they make them for life, and anyone having a Boar Year friend is fortunate for they are extremely loyal. They don't talk much but have a great thirst for knowledge. They study a great deal and are generally well informed.
